Austin has been my creative playground for over 25 years. After earning a degree in Journalism and Communications from The Ohio State University, I made my way to the vibrant city of Austin—a move that felt a bit like stepping into the Land of Oz.

I spent the first five years of my career building a strong foundation in marketing, branding, and business through roles at an advertising agency and a Fortune 500 company. From there, I launched Jewell Magazine, serving as creator, publisher, and editor, with a focus on celebrating local style and culture. I also co-founded and operated downSTAIRS Apparel, a well-loved Austin boutique.

Over the past decade, I’ve concentrated on local marketing, advertising, and public relations—collaborating with some of Austin’s most dynamic clients to deliver creative, impactful strategies that reflect the city's unique energy and voice.
